I suppose it's about damn time we post a proper up

I suppose it's about damn time we post a proper update. After completing the PanAm we shipped Tortuga back, cried like a couple of children who found out adults don't get snack time and recess foreva, begrudgingly went back to working J-O-Bs, bought a rental property, got married in Mexico, tried to soothe the post-PanAm slumps by working remotely in Tortuga & Airbnbs, bought a small class C and sampled the full-time RV life for 6 months during Covid (no gracias), Jenna received a job offer abroad, sold the RV, sold the rental property and moved to Italy! I think it's obvious we have a hard time staying still, but hopefully this will give us a pretty nice base camp for the next few years. 😊

King Penguins of Tierra del Fuego

Had a chance to visit South America's only colony of King Penguins. Remains from these colorful waddlers have been found in archaeological excavations of human settlements in the area from over 6,000 years ago. However, the new colony was only discovered about a decade ago. 📱+ 🔭 for the win! 😁

This is it! Ushuaia - The southernmost city in the world. The "goal" we've been aiming to reach for over 2.5 years on the road. I don't really have the words to describe how it felt to round the bend and suddenly see this sign, but I'm glad I was wearing sunglasses. Profound happiness & sadness wrapped up in questions about the future and our gratitude for soooo many memories. Faced with all these confusing emotions, there was only one thing to do...celebrate with a bottle of bubbly 😉

Meet Forest & Jordan. These fools drove from New York to Ushuaia in a Subaru Forester!

We've been traveling with them on and off since Colombia so you've probably seen them in a few of our pics by now. They share our love of wine and chair dancing, and they've already met my mom and sister...so you could say the relationship is going pretty darn well. After a couple days of hiking together in Torres Del Paine, we said our goodbyes knowing without a doubt, we'll meet again soon...hopefully in Mexico! Hasta Pronto! 😆 @42strong
